Internships and Volunteer Opportunities for Students
There are a multitude of opportunities for students wanting to serve their community for a designated amount of time. Below are a few ways to get started.
Clearinghouse (Office)
The clearinghouse is the core of the Love INC ministry. Volunteers who help in this area make weekly or monthly commitments to serve. Opportunities to serve in the clearinghouse include projects (making copies, filing, making phone calls) and translating/ interpreting for Spanish clients. Spanish speaking volunteers would translate documents, make and receive phone calls, or interpret intake appointments.
- Internships
Love INC can provide a wide variety of internship opportunities. Internships are developed for all majors and can include any or all of the following: one on one client contact, organization, fundraising, paper work, data entry, health care services, homeless, and mentoring. Internships are a great opportunity to gain job experience and put feet to your education.
