- AboutOUR MISSION At Love In the Name of Christ, our mission is to connect families in need with local churches and service agencies who can help them. We believe that by serving others and demonstrating the unconditional love that Christ has for us, God will work through us to transform lives in our community. EVENTS “On Love INC’s 2nd Annual Adult Health Day, February 26th 2011, 29 adults received vision exams and two pairs of free glasses. These glasses were generously donated due to the Love INC and The Give A Little Foundation partnership.” They could use your help as well. Click here to find out how to participate. OUR CLEARINGHOUSE Our clearinghouse is located at 209 S Main Street, Newberg, OR 97132. We are open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am-2pm. After hour appointments are available upon request. OUR PARTNERS We currently work with 43 churches and 93 service agencies in the Newberg area (Carlton, Dayton, Dundee, Lafayette, Newberg, Sherwood, St. Paul, and Yamhill. - Love Links[h1]Who does Love Links Serve?[/h1] Individuals featured in Love Links are clients of Love INC who are participating in our Relational Ministry program. The program goal is to provide people in need with Christ-like relationships that foster transformation and sustainable life change. Each client participates in the program for at least a year. Relational Ministry teaches a variety of skills including basic budgeting and life skills with a variety of topics ranging from nutrition to computers. Each participant is matched with a mentor/friend. The mentor meets with them weekly, attending classes with them, providing spiritual support and encouragement. This creates a meaningful interpersonal relationship. [h1]How does Love Links Work?[/h1] Love Links is an outreach to the community; sharing information about the skills and the work the Love INC clients would like to do. The pages provided share each participant’s skills, hours available and other contact information. Love Links is successful when members of the community hire Love INC clients to provide an avenue for transformation in their lives.
