How Can We Help?

Image-Volunteers Helping 5 CroppedIf you and your family are in need of help, call 503-537-3999 to set up an intake appointment in our Clearinghouse (209 S Main St. Newberg).  Intake appointments are approximately 1 hour long, and you will need to bring photo ID and a utility bill to verify your address.  A unique plan will be put together for you, including help from local churches and agencies in the area.

Love INC of the Newberg area serves ANYONE who lives in Newberg, Dundee, Lafayette, Dayton, Yamhill, Carlton, St. Paul and parts of Sherwood (as long as they have a Newberg connection).  There are no income limits or qualifications that would make you ineligible to receive services from Love INC.

Emergency Assistance

The Newberg Community Shelter is open for women and children from 6 PM to 8 AM every night, even during holidays.  Show up at 215 S Main St between 6 PM and 8 PM to stay the night.

YCAP provides energy assistance, client services and housing, volunteer medical transportation, and food.  Call 800-945-9992 or 503-472-0457.

2-1-1  is a resource directory for emergency assistance.  Dial 211 on your phone to access help Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.

Love INC does not help with utility bills*, funeral expenses and motel costs.

*On occasion Relational Ministry participants receive gift cards to pay off a portion of their utility bills as funds are available.
