God is definitely at work at Love INC in our Relational Ministry program. A couple came in to the office hoping to receive help with a housing situation. The woman was receiving housing assistance through Housing Authority, but her request to add her spouse to her housing voucher was denied due to poor decisions in his past. After Love INC wrote a letter on their behalf, Housing Authority stipulated that he had to take an anger management class in order to be added to the housing voucher. Love INC called local agencies to find out about available classes, but the classes were either expensive or full. Love INC advocated for the couple and through God’s grace George Fox Behavioral Health managed to squeeze him in. The counseling sessions will meet the requirement needed to put him back on the housing voucher. It is amazing to see God’s forgiveness extended to his children. Even though this man has made some mistakes in the past, he is experiencing grace and love and now has a place to live.
