A woman in the shelter has found a new home! After making incredible personal strides over the course of a year, while living in the shelter, she has now found a place to call home. For the last several months she has been looking for an affordable place to live, but was having difficulty. Last week when she was visiting the Love INC office she received a call from a landlord saying she was accepted to move into an apartment. Tears of joy filled her eyes for the relief of finally having her own place.
Love INC brings so many churches together to help meet the needs of each individual. This woman did not have any supplies for her new home, so each church provided a different service to help fill her apartment. Churches provided sheets, towels, blankets, furniture, non-food items, and kitchen supplies. One of our Gap ministries, the Kitchen Setup, when above and beyond and delivered kitchen supplies directly to her apartment because she was unable to find transportation to the church office on that particular day. God bless all of the Gap ministries that help provide basic needs for so many families and individuals in the Newberg area.
