God’s hand has been at work at Love INC and Relational Ministry, transforming hearts and lives, bringing people together and building up his kingdom. Many lives have been touched and one client in Relational Ministry is no exception. After being on a housing waiting list for several years and living in more temporary housing, one Relational Ministry client was shocked to receive a letter informing her that her housing would be up by the end of the month. For reasons unknown to her, she had been put at the bottom of the other housing waiting list. Unless action was taking she would be homeless by the end of the month.
She came to Love INC asking for help. Fortunately for her she had kept all of her housing documents. After helping her organize her papers, Love INC discovered that back in 2007 she had never received an important renewal document, causing her to be moved to the bottom of the housing waiting list. Love INC advocated for the client between the two housing situations, by calling and writing letters on her behalf, Love INC explained the situation of the missing letter, and how the client had been attending relational ministry classes.
By the Grace of God not only was the client moved up towards the top of the waiting list, but her current housing was to be extended for a few more months! All this happened two days before her housing would be lost! God truly has been at work in Relational Ministry and Love INC!
